Milwaukee 48-89-1027 Thunderbolt 27/64-Inch Black and Bronze Twist Drill Bit, 5 Pack

Milwaukee’s Thunderbolt Jobbers Length twist drill bits are designed for performance in low to high tensile strength materials, stainless steel and cast iron. Thunderbolt twist drill bits are made from premium industrial grade steel with heavy duty cutting surfaces that powers through deep or shallow holes with lightning speed. A unique flute form is used for greater chip ejection and improves coolant to the drill point. Thunderbolt twist drill bits have a self-centering 135 degree split point which reduces walking at the drill point. A black and bronze coating reduces friction. Five per package.

It is designed with a patented three-speed transmission that optimizes the speed applied to each application. The first speed is ideal for use with hole saws and self feed bits when drilling large holes in wood. The second speed is designed for use with auger bits or screwdriving and the third speed is meant for hammer drilling into concrete.
